    Marathwada Sheti Sahayya Mandal has started Agricultural Distance Education in 1993-94 under Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik.
    Objects :

    The main objects of the center are as below

    • To provide opportunity of Agricultural education who wants to take it but cannot or could not get in regular education system because of their various problems.
    • To provide opportunity of education of all and needy persons in their available time.
    • To provide present techniques and managerial knowledge and skills to farmers.
    Admission Process :
    • The admissions are open to all who are 10 th or 12 th passed / fail or any Diploma / Degree of YCMOU
    • The admission starts in first week of June every year.

    Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU), Nashik has recognized Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Jalna as Open Institute of Agriculture (OIA) for conducting courses of agriculture faculty. This OIA helps to complete the basic education in agriculture to farmers, farm women, rural youth and extension functionaries by distance learning. The courses offered by the university and the number of students registered at this OIA during 2006-2007 is given below.
