MANTHAN is a project for capacity building inputs for organizational development of Non-Government social organization .The project is supported by International Development and Research Center (IDRC) Canda. Chaitnaya “Rajgurunagar, Pune” is providing inputs to NGOs for there capacity building. The focus of the capacity building inputs is on funding and PME (Planning Monitoring and Evaluation) Systems. Chaintnaya has developed training modules for the NGO capacity building inputs.

Marathwada Sheti Sahyaa Mandal (MSSM) is one of the organization participated in the project since 2006. And getting inputs from Chaintnaya through the activities like Workshops, Staff Meetings, Organizational Systems Designing, Human Resource Development etc.

As per the aim and results expected, in the organization Marathwada Sheti Sahayya Mandal, following steps are taken as output. 

• Staff (Project heads) Monthly meetings are started in the organization for monthly work done review, further plan discussion, problems and solution, experience sharing.
• Various (11) formats  are designed and printed for regular use such as Diesel demand and distribution, leave application, traveling expenditure submission, self evaluation, account submission, purchase system, staff movement register, etc. and are in implementation process.
• Various committees are formed like Purchase committee, Fund raising committee, Training committee, Monitoring committee, Administrative committee, Annual reports and broachers committee, etc.
• Human resource development manual (Guidelines) for staff and organization is drafted and is in under sanction process of executive committee.
• Annual report of the organization is finalized and under printing.
• Website of the organization is completed.
• Strategic planning for next five years is in process.
• Broachers of the organization, various departments like Bio-control Lab, Soil Testing Lab, and School etc. are published.
• Further actions are in process.
