- In congruence with the above vision and mission, and in the light of the prevailing situation of people in the rural areas, MSSM has set the following goals.
- Organising men and women in the villages and to build their capacities towards management and control of their natural resources
- Regeneration, development and management of land and water resources using watershed framework to increase the productivity and improve the living conditions of the men and women in rural areas
- Development, promotion and extension of appropriate technologies in agriculture, livestock and allied sectors
- Empowering women and bringing them into the mainstream of village functioning.
- Educating and capacitating adolescent women, towards a just and humanistic society.
- Training and capacity building of rural youth to channelise their energies towards socially useful community action.
