Marathwada Sheti Sahayya Mandal is implementing No of programmes / projects / Activities through its various division since its inception. Through the various types of work it is learned that, there is need to make capacity building of men and women in rural area for sustainability of developmental programmes implemented with them. Keeping in the view in a Dhuliwandan programme of 2001 MSSM has opened a subject “Gawachi Gadhi Ka Wiskatli” (Why development is demolished in the village) in front 400 to 500 people for open discussion. From the discussion A new programme is borne i.e. “Amhi Sudharu Amcha Gaon” (We will develop our village) planned the programme strategy. Initially the programme was implemented on trial base in two villages which shown positive effect.
The Programme has proposed to UK Governments Departnement for international development (DFID) through consortium of two Indian Organization Development Alternatives (DA) and Price water house coopers (P) LTD under poorest Area Civil Society (PACS) Project which is sanctioned in 2002 and implemented in two part 2002 to Feb 2006.
PART – 1st
During the 1st phase period September 2002 to Feb 2006 the project is implemented in 12 villages in Aurangabad district and 48 villages in Jalna district in which following output are achieved as per the planned objects

Achievement of the Programme :
1) Empowerment of women and poors :
Self Help Groups (SHG) :
We have formed 375 womens SHG and 107 Male SHGs in which 5515 families have came in habit of collective saving and enhanced control over expenditure. They saved of Rs. 8350090 and made internal lending of Rs. 6678231 for fulfilling their wants / needs. By this way they have avoided to the private creditors. They have got capacity of self decision-making and communication with bankers. Capacity of accounting. |

Income Generation Activities : |
in the villages Asarkheda, Thote Pimpalgaon, Khamkheda, Pathar deualgaon, Singona, Satana, Karmad, Ambhora, Dharkalya, womens and poors some individually or collectively run. Dairy, candle making, Neerma powder, scented sticks, utensils, goat keeping, Provision, floor mills, groom makeup papad, pickle, and also driving rickshaws, jeep as mean of transport. |

Health and Hygiene: |
in 55 villages 5244 families have aware about clean drinking water use of mud pots with tabs, use of latrines, use of soak pits, closed bathrooms, and because of that they made 507 soak pits, 7011 bathrooms and latrines and they are using it regularly. Kishori and womens are taking care of their health in growing age. Some families are also attending towards the Kishori nutritional foods and health care. Many families are taking care of pregnant women health poors families are also taking foods regularly from Anganwadi |

Hagandari Mukti Process: |
Warfalwadi, Anandwadi, Ganeshpur (Jafrabad), Bamni, Murma, Satana, Antarwalla, Pathar Dseualgaon, Dagadwadi, Jadgaon, Khedgaon, Kachrewadi, Thote Pimpalgaon, Ganeshpur (Mantha) are aware of the concept “Hagandari Mukt” and implement according 80% of families in these villages have constructed latrines to which Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shri. Rajiv Mettal and Dr. Nipun Vinayak had visited. Palaskhed Pimple, Murma, Satana, Khedgaon, these villages are free from mosquitoes. |

Adolescent Development: |
1113 Adolescent girl had learnt skill of Rangoli, Cloth stitching, Embroider, Rakhi making, Glass painting, Handcraft through which they had gained, Self confidence, taking decision girls from Antarwalla had trained other girls from other villages. Girls from Khadka had prepared Rakhi and were sold. |

Youth Vocational Trainings:
PACS has provided training of Animal Husbandry training to 16 youths and they are now earning Rs. 2000/- per month and villagers are getting their remedy for any problems. This is whom they can save money from excess expenditure. |

Cotton IPM:
Due to Integrated Pest Management training 1500 farmer utilized the training and saved their excess expenditure of rupees 70,000 approximately.

Government Schemes Awareness: |
441 women and 823 adolescent girls visited to various Government offices, Projects and understood the offices i.e. Employment office and schemes, Women and Child Development and their scheme, DRDA and their scheme and Police station, etc. They have get confidence and skill to deal with Government officials. |

PRI Awareness: |
234 Male and 823 Female are aware of Grampanchayat terms and conditions, Gramsabha women from these villages namely Khamkheda, Khedgaon, Thote Pimpalgaon, Dagadwadi, Pathar Deualgaon, Karmad, Khalapuri, had raised problems of "Daru Bandi, Drinking water, Environmental sanitations, latrines, Houses. |
